Orcas Conservatory
Orcas Conservatory is an ongoing series of performing arts classes, providing high-quality training and experiences to children and adults in dance, aerials, acting, directing, playwriting, production and lectures on a variety of topics to enhance and inspire critical thinking in the arts.

Teens 3:15 to 4:15 Children ages 9 to 12
Adults 4:15 to 5:15 Children ages 6 to 8
Tuesday January 24th at 3:15 there will be an intro class for ages 6 and up. Come “meet the silk”, climb it, hang from it, twist in to it - test it out!!!
Tuition: 4 weeks - $50.00

There will be sessions offered through mid-May followed by a grand performance by the participants!!!

From the very beginning, this choir has been an absolute joy for
Grace to direct. She has met so many talented and joyful young children
throughout this experience. All children from the Orcas Island community
are welcome to participate in this choir. This choir stays active
through the year except during the summer.
The "Musical Theater Youth Troupe" will meet every Tuesday from
3:30-4:30 starting Feb. 7th 2012 for eight-weeks. The class is provided
for kids who want to discover the fun of musical theater. This series
will focus on learning Michael Jackson's "Thriller" along with
choreography.
To register for the class, show up on the day and time of the first
class. There are no auditions. The cost is $60 for the eight-week
series.

This choir will be meeting every Tuesday at 5:00-7:00pm starting Feb 7th 2012 in the Off Center stage at the Orcas Center. This choir is a high energy, belly laughing-fun musical experience. The only prerequisites are the desire to sing and to have a good time doing it. The music for this round will be a tribute to the 80's. That's right, I said the 80's! Madonna, Bon Jovi, Michael Jackson and more! This is a great way to spend a Tuesday night, so pass it on! There are no auditions to participate in this choir. Tuition is $60 for the 8 week series.
