From I-5, travel north from Seattle, or south from Burlington. Take the WA-20 exit – exit 230 – toward BURLINGTON / ANACORTES.

Turn LEFT onto WA-20 and follow it into Anacortes, turning slightly right onto Commercial Ave. Follow the signs to the Anacortes-San Juan Islands-Sidney Ferry.

ARRIVE AT THE FERRY TERMINAL one hour before sailing time, if possible. Get on the ferry to Orcas Island.

Drive off the ferry at Orcas Island and take a left (along with most of the other traffic.) Follow this road (Orcas Road) and rather than turning right into Eastsound, continue on Lover's Lane, which will turn right to become Mt. Baker Road right at the airstrip.

Orcas Center will be on the right at 917 Mt. Baker Road. Look for the whale in front!
